Will Stevens: “I don’t know this circuit so we had to do a lot of work yesterday to set everything up properly, and I managed only three laps in the first collective test. Before the red flag my pace was good and I managed to go even quicker when the session restarted. The car’s handling perfectly so we’ve got what it takes to score a good result.”

Norman Nato: “I just missed out on pole! I’m satisfied with the result and our level of performance. I’m a rookie in a new team and I didn’t do a lot of running in the winter. We knew that the season was going to be difficult. We’re learning and we’re fighting our way to the front as proved by this qualifying performance. There are still a lot of things to grasp but I’m very happy to be second. A podium finish would be great.”
