Maria de Villota in an F1 car in the Catalonian sunshine

The young Spaniard had another drive in the Lotus-Renault R30 in the Catalonian sunshine in front of a large number of spectators. Maria de Villota gave the crowd’s ears a good hammering as she unleashed all the power of the V8 engine on the Montmelo circuit: she is the first Spanish woman to drive the queen of single-seaters. Earlier this year she drove the R29 on the Paul Ricard HTTT track.
