Background information

Comtec Racing is a Formula Renault 3.5 Series team based in Norflok, UK, established in 2002.

Originally founded as the Van Diemen works Formula Ford factory team in 1973, simply to win as many races and championships as possible, to aid Van Diemen sell its product's worldwide. By now a independent team, they continued to build on their sucess.

Comtec entered the world series by renault 3.5 Series in 2006 and its first year provided Alx Daniellson with a championship winning car. The team has also had success in Formula Ford and Formula Renault 2.0 and has many British, European and world titles to its name.
